Deer Cutter Design
The Deer Cutter Design was made to replicate the spear point that was found by my son Evan. Evan was playing in a pile of dirt when all of the sudden he began yelling Dad, Dad, Dad look what I found. He ran toward me with the point in his hand holding it up by his nose. He then very excitingly yelled, “It smells like bear blood, smell it, smell it.” I knew exactly what he was thinking and just imagined that Indian killing a bear.
Each one of us has our own memory and thoughts when we find artifacts in the field. We realize the special moment and just wonder what really happened and how the point or item was last used. In my mind as a boy I visualized myself being an Indian hunting in the woods with my bow and arrow.
The Para cord we use as a lanyard is sturdy and can be used for a number of things in the field. Many times in the field we need a strong piece of cord to mend a piece of clothing, repair equipment or replace a boot lace. The small piece of Para cord can be used to place your tag on your deer or turkey just in case you got in a hurry and somehow left the hunting cabin without it. (Or your hunting buddy decided to be funny and remove it)
We wanted to keep the Deer Cutter extremely simple, quiet and effective. When bow hunting the more equipment we use the more chance we have of making a mistake or having an equipment failure. All these things can be costly when working that mature buck we have spent countless hours trying to get within 25 to 30 yards of our tree stand.
Enjoy your Deer Cutter and we wish you much success. It is literally from our family to yours and a small piece to include in your arsenal as we continue the American tradition of hunting together. Create that false sense of security and calm the woods down allowing the woods to “Talk Naturally.”
God Bless and Keep Cuttin!
